Australian Fashion Festival 2004, hosted in Sydney, was one of the most
successful events in almost a decade, with over 90 designers showcasing
innovative designs. Due to the large number of designers involved, all
were encouraged to display their very best work. The competitive
atmosphere amongst both established and the up and coming, ensured many
captivating shows. To compliment these inventive designs, was
spectacular 1940s inspired glamorous Hair & Makeup looks.
The VIP launch party was conducted exclusively at the Sydney Opera
House, where a gathering of all Australian designers such as Peter
Morrissey, Wayne Cooper, Sass & Bide, Mink (Model), Alex Zotos
(Photographer) Jackie Frank and various Beauty Editors. Not to forget,
our international Supermodels such as Gail Elliot and Helena
Christensen.
Throughout this frivolous and enthralling week, Rose d Carbone styled
an assortment of celebrities. Rachael Mannell (Beauty Editor of Cleo)
Gail Elliot (Supermodel) and Helena Christenson (Supermodel), who are
confessed and fans of the RdC by Rose d Carbone signature Makeup range,
further recommending it to friends Collette Dinnigan, Helena
Christenson, Elle Macpherson, Christy Turlington, Yasmin Le bon and
Cindy Crawford, just to name a few!
As crowds dispersed, so did the buzz and excitement of Mercedes
Australian Fashion Week, marking the end of yet another successful
fashion extravaganza. Attendees were left with vivid memories of
inspirational Fashion, Hair & Makeup that has yet again amplified
standards in the Australian fashion industry.
